Summer Academy

The Summer Academy in Lecce, Italy, is an advanced solo piano training programme for professionals and advanced students. It will take place from July 30th to August 8th 2026.

The Academy offers masterclasses by internationally renowned pianist and artistic director of the Piano Summer Festival, Zoran Imširović, who will be supported by Australien concert pianist Michael Leslie, professor Hyun Sook Tekin and professor Barış Büyükyıldırım.
During the Academy, students will have five individual lessons, split on all three professors, to improve their technical and interpretative skills. They will also have the opportunity to perform the pieces they have prepared in public concerts. In addition to a rich programme of advanced musical training, the students will have the opportunity to get to know the Salento culture and its beautiful landscape and architecture.

The program will culminate in two Solo Concerts, to be held on August 4th and 5th 2026 at the main cloister of del Convitto Palmieri in Lecce. This concerts represent a special event in which students will be able to reveal their talents to the Italian public in a prestigious venue. 

The Lecce Summer Academy offers advanced piano students a wonderful opportunity to learn, perform and enjoy, during their leisure time, the unique and evocative beauty of Lecce and its province, experiencing the “dolce vita” of an area known worldwide for its Baroque architecture.

Option 1: Participation fee: 600€ (Expenses for travel, food and accommodation have to be paid by the students)

Option 2: Participation fee: 1200€ ( Accommodation is provided in the heart of Lecce. Expenses for travel and food have to be paid by the students)
