Summer Academy

The Summer Academy in Lecce, Italy, is an advanced solo piano training programme for professionals and advanced students. It will take place from 12 to 23 October 2025.

The Academy offers masterclasses by internationally renowned pianist and artistic director of the Piano Summer Festival, Zoran Imširović, who will be supported by Australien concert pianist Michael Leslie and Goara Nonna Lazic. During the Academy, students will have five individual lessons to improve their technical and interpretative skills. They will also have the opportunity to perform the pieces they have prepared in public concerts. In addition to a rich programme of advanced musical training, the students will have the opportunity to get to know the Salento through guided tours of the area’s beautiful landscape and architecture. They will thus be able to discover the culture and history, also musical, of the Salento region.

The program will culminate in two Solo Concerts, to be held on October 23^rd 2025 at the main cloister of del Convitto Palmieri in Lecce. These concerts represent two special events in which students will be able to reveal their talents to the Italian public in a prestigious venue. 

The Lecce Summer Academy offers advanced piano students a wonderful opportunity to learn, perform and enjoy, during their leisure time, the unique and evocative beauty of Lecce and its province, experiencing the “dolce vita” of an area known worldwide for its Baroque architecture.
