
Alessio Zuccaro
Alessio Zuccaro graduated from the Conservatory of Music “Tito Schipa” in Lecce under the guidance of Corrado De Bernart, earning both the Three-year and Two-year degrees with highest honors, praise and honorable mention. He made his debut as a soloist with orchestra in the performance of Gabriel Faurè’s “Ballata” conducted by Francesco Libetta. Under the guidance of Libetta himself, he attended a master class at the S.I.M.A. Academy in Lecce. He has recorded music by Libetta and Castérède. He received his Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy from the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana under the guidance of Nora Doallo for piano and Andrea Conenna for didactics, where he was awarded cum laude. He graduated in piano improvisation with Galina Vracheva. He is a founding member and former president of the “Seraphicus” Association in Nardò, with which he promotes cultural events in Salento. He is founder of the artistic-musical improvisation group ImPros.
