Domenico Bevilacqua

Domenico Bevilacqua, born in Bologna in 2002, earned his master’s degree in piano with the highest honors, including distinction and an honorable mention, from the “Giuseppe Verdi” State Conservatory in Ravenna. In 2025, he completed a three-year Master’s program at the “Incontri col Maestro” International Academy in Imola with M. Boris Petrushansky.

He’s studying composition with Maestro Mauro Montalbetti. He has attended masterclassesled by internationally renowned Maestros such as Boris Berman, Andrea Lucchesini, Federico Colli and Alberto Nosè, as well as with Andrea Rebaudengo and Massimiliano Damerini on contemporary repertoire.

In recent years, he has won numerous prizes in international competitions, including theMarizza Prize in Trieste, the Città di Minerbio Competition, the Andrea Baldi Competition in Bologna, the Città di Arona Competition, the Nuova Coppa Pianisti in Osimo, and the Orbetello Piano Competition. He was selected as one of the six finalists for the 2026 FVG Piano Competition. He performed as a soloist in Chopin’s First Piano Concerto at the Alighieri Theater. He has given recitals for the Ravenna Festival, Emilia Romagna Concerti, at the Sala Agnelli of the Polytechnic University of Turin, and for the Roma Tre Orchestra; he has also performed in chamber music ensembles at MAMbo—the Museum of Modern Art in Bologna—and at the Gregoriano Profano Museum within the Vatican Museums, as well as in a piano duo with the internationally renowned pianist Maria Alessandra Ammara. He has collaborated with the contemporary music collective WKO Camerata degli Ammutinati and has also performed on several occasions with the Luigi Cherubini Youth Orchestra in the keyboard section, under the distinguished baton of Maestro Riccardo Muti.
