Iva Ikon

Iva is a singer, pianist and songwriter born in Belgrade. Having musicians in her family, she started playing the piano at the age of 5, singing, dancing and acting in different groups and competitions.

Music, her biggest passion and hobby, soon became her profession.

Iva got a Masters degree in classical piano at Hochschule fuer Musik Munich and Faculty of Music and Arts Belgarde.

Iva also studied jazz and gospel singing. She sang solo and as a backing vocal for many international and German stars.

Featured in Maxim’s “The Olympic Dream” as a vocalist (produced by David ESSEX), released as part of the official album for the Olympic games 2004 by EMI.

Her song “21 Grams” was taken for TV Series (1-5) MESSIAH that was broadcasted on BBC ONE.

Iva’s background, experiences, living abroad and traveling encouraged her to explore different cultures (she speaks English, French, German and a bit of Russian), and music genres (from classical, jazz, gospel, blues, rock).
